| Situated in the heart of Manchester, Forsyth is the UK’s oldest music
store. The five floor building incorporates departments for musical
instruments, sheet music sales and publishing, a classical CD and
record department and restoration and repair of guitars, violins and
pianos.
The instrument department carries over 300 guitars with an emphasis on acoustic instruments, and specializes in hand-made, British guitars. A selection of Dave’s instruments sits alongside other UK brands such as Fylde, Atkin, Lowden, Moon, and Patrick James Eggle. Practice rooms are available to try and compare instruments in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and the repair department offers a full back up service, including free setups within the first year after purchase. |
